Dr. Bertke’s enthusiasm for science is thoroughly contagious.  She had my students rolling up their sleeves, solving problems, analyzing data, and having so much fun they didn’t even realize how much they were learning.

This was an amazing program and I thought that it flowed well.  Allowing them to work at their own pace was a great idea.  I can't think of anything I would change!

Science Connections has a knack for inviting students to get genuinely immersed in solving a problem and for making science both relevant and “cool”.

Dr. Bertke has worked with students in our school on several occasions to help our students think like scientists.  She doesn’t just show, she allows the students to discover for themselves. t’m convinced that after her visits several of my students now see themselves as future scientists.
